When Are You Getting Your Stimulus Check?

The IRS decided to distribute the Stimulus Check payment methods based on when you filed your 2007 tax return, whether you opted in for direct deposit, and the last 2 digits of your Social Security number.

So if you opted for direct deposit and filed your return in time for the IRS to process it by April 15th, then this is when you should see your Stimulus Check hit your account:

On jointly filed returns, the mailing schedule will be based on the first Social Security number listed:

*APY = Annual Percentage Yield. Rate effective as of May 12, 2008. **Total certificate at the end of the 12 months can’t exceed $10,000.
