Do you think home ownership is a pipedream? Think again!
We have created a special certificate that could
help you get into your own home within a year. All you need is $100 to get started and you can add on to this certificate in minimum deposits of $100. Rogue Federal will contribute $500 towards closing costs on a Rogue Federal home loan if the loan is closed within six months of certificate maturity or the certificate has been open for at least three months. The early withdrawal penalty will be waived if you use the proceeds of the certificate to purchase a home before the 12 months are up (certificate must be open at least 7 days and check must be payable to lender or title company to waive early withdrawal penalty). HOME$TART GRANT PROGRAM
Home$tart is a matching grant program that promotes homeownership by providing $3 for every $1 a household contributes up to $5,000. So, if you save $1667 to contribute, Home$tart will match up to $5000 to be used for downpayments, closing costs, or rehabilitation of an owner-occupied housing unit, including a condominium or cooperative housing unit, to be used as the household's primary residence. Grants may be used in combination with funds from other sources.
Household income must be at or below 80% of HUD's area median income, adjusted for family size, for the year the member qualified the household for participation in the program.
Since its inception in 1995, Home$tart has granted more than $35.7 million to help over 7,200 first-time homebuyers purchase their first homes.
Prospective homebuyers must apply for grants through a participating member financial institution. Click here to contact one of our knowledgeable Home Loan Officers to see if you're eligible for the Home$tart Program.
