Rogue Community Plan

Rogue Federal Credit Union's Commitment:

Rogue Federal Credit Union is committed to partnering with others to build stronger communities. Our contributions include the volunteer efforts of our employees as well as cash donations and sponsorships. This commitment exemplifies our mission of "Providing exceptional experiences that build mutually beneficial relationships."

Rogue gives to the community through:

  • Community Donations/Sponsorships
  • Volunteerism by staff
  • Scholarships

Community Donations/Sponsorships Guidelines:

Rogue looks to support organizations which have philanthropic goals consistent with our objective of building a stronger community. These may include, but are not limited to, youth, community, and public service organizations.

We choose to support organizations which apply human involvement and/or invest financial resources in charitable, community and civic organizations. When evaluating a request we will evaluate it through our Community Investment Decisioning Filter by asking these questions:

  1. Will these funds help to build a stronger community?
  2. How will this request benefit the community at large?
  3. How will funds/manpower directly impact the community/organization?
  4. How far reaching is this donation/sponsorship? Who and how many will it impact?

Rogue will not consider requests restricted to:

  1. Religious activities
  2. Political activities
  3. Personal travel or entertainment
  4. Individual requests

How to Apply for Donations and Sponsorships:

Requests must be made by using the Application for Donation or Sponsorship form. All requests must be submitted electronically at this time.

Requests will be accepted during the months of September - mid-November with all decisions being made for the following year by December 31.

Rogue Sanctioned Volunteer Projects

Rogue empowers employees to make a personal difference in their communities. Rogue looks for community partners that follow our guidelines for donations and sponsorships to assure we are volunteering our time to the organizations that have the largest impact on our communities. If your organization could benefit from work projects by large groups of individuals, please contact the Marketing Department to discuss the possibilities.

Scholarships

Each year Rogue Federal Credit Union offers several scholarships to graduating high school seniors. Each scholarship is a one time gift of $1,500 and is based on academics, school involvement, and community involvement. Applications are available from high school academic scholarship counselors or on our website.

Recipients are chosen by a committee comprised of staff and a Rogue Board member. The recipients' counselors are notified and scholarship presentations are made in May.
