Rogue Federal Donates Funds to Santo Community Center

(Medford, OR) - Rogue Federal Credit Union is partnering with Medford's Parks and Recreation Department to build a better community with the construction of a new gymnasium at the Santo Community Center. The groundbreaking for the 11,000-square-foot community gymnasium took place Friday, September 28 in West Medford. The new gymnasium is expected to be finished spring of 2008. Rogue Federal President and CEO, Gene Pelham stated, "Rogue Federal is focused on developing partnershps that better our community and build strong relationships. The new gymnasium at the Santo Center is the perfect opportunity to build and improve our entire community."

When completed, the gymnasium will be referred to as Rogue Federal Credit Union Gymnasium. With the $50,000 donation Rogue Federal Credit Union will have naming rights for 10 years, use of the gym during non-peak activity times, the ability to conduct educational classes and community outreach programs in conjunction with Medford Parks and Recreation, and the gym floor with the Rogue Federal logo will be placed on the Parks and Recreation website.
