(Medford, OR) - Rogue Federal Credit Union (RFCU) honored four employees with special service awards at the credit union's annual awards banquet. These awards are bestowed upon individuals exemplifying credit union philosophy, which includes not only their involvement in credit union activities but also the community, the overall success of the credit union, total quality member servicea and, meeting or exceeding employment expectations.
The Rookie of the Year was awarded to Richard Knight, Home Loan Center Manager in Medford for outstanding knowledge, service, performance and commitment to RFCU.
Dawn Wolfe, Consumer Loan Manager, was this year's recipient of the Internal Quality Service Award for providing outstanding quality service to fellow employees.
The External Quality Service Award was given to Debbie Miller for her outstanding sales and relationship building with the membership and employees.
President/CEO Gene Pelham presented Susan Bartels, Member Relations Representative, with the President's Award for exemplifying philosophy, member service and contributing to the success of RFCU.
Thirty-five employees were recognized for their achievement of no lost time due to sickness for an entire year. One employee was recognized for the same achievement for no sick for five years.
Forty-seven employees were recognized for 8,919 combined hours of non-paid volunteer service to their community in 2006. Gene Pelham stated "This is further evidence of our employees' level of commitment to our community."
Employees were also recognized for their time of employment with jeweled pins. Employees receiving pins were awarded for their one, five, ten and fifteen years with the credit union.
