Release Date:

(Medford, OR) - Kerrie Davis recently was one of 12 recipients to receive the Jefferson Award on the local level. Jefferson Award recipients are ordinary people who do extraordinary things without the expectation of recognition or reward. Kerrie Davis is definitely one of those people who does extraordinary things daily. She was one of the lead team members for developing the community Meth Forum for Jackson County; she has fostered many children through Community Works to offer them a better life; and she helped to establish a business partnership between Rogue Federal and Phoenix Elementary School. She also serves on several committees and boards which include: Key Communicator for 549c, SODA Board of Directors, Chair of the 549c Teen Parent Advisory Board, Junior Achievement Board, and Chair of the CUAO Financial Literacy Committee.

If you ask Kerrie Davis about her position at Rogue Federal Credit Union she would tell you, "My job allows me to do what I love and what I am passionate about - to help children succeed". Kerrie is currently the Community and Education Outreach Coordinator at Rogue Federal and has been with the credit union for 14 years; previously she was the Special Services Manager for the credit union. There were many reasons Kerrie was awarded the Jeffereson Award, to sum it up in two words it would be passion and dedication. Her dedication to giving back to her community and passion for helping children succeed goes way beyond that of her position at the credit union. The community is lucky to have a person that makes a difference in people's lives like Kerrie Davis does.
